since there was no internet there, i've been blogger-deprived that makes for a lot of catching up to do. =) niagara falls. what can i say, no words can do it justice. the sheer power of water thundering over the cliffs is enough to realize how tiny you are and how big, and beautiful the world can be. so DAY 1: walked around, imax theatre walked down to the falls, ate by the falls watched the fireworks by the falls. got back to the hotel, and watched the falls. the mist is permanent, so at night, part of the town is constantly wet. from the mist. its gorgeous for a while but it must get pretty tiring for those traffic police. at night the falls are illuminated with light, so they shine the colors of the rainbow ethereal in their glory. breathtaking DAY 2: OUTLET shopping! clifton hill - tourist district. mazes, motion-theatre(SUCKS), fudgefactory(yumyum), sat the skywheel to see the falls from the sky, dinner was good. then we got caught in the thunderstorm sent our way by the tornado and we ran to the bus stop, screaming and running all the way. pure FUN. DAY 3: niagara day. 4D movie: Niagara's Fury. Fun if you want to get wet. Journey behind the falls. twas AMAZING. haha and fun. =) behind the falls, walking in manmade tunnels. literally from the inside looking out. haha im retarded. after this we took the Maid of The Mist - the famed boat tour and visited the falls up close. i have videos of that too, but im completely retarded. so maybe later. then we went to the hershey's factory =( so much glorious sugar... and white water walk. i saw a semi-whirlpool. yay. dinner @revolving dining room i always love these revolving rooms.. DAY 4: waterpark. North America's largest INDOOR waterpark. lots of sliding and screaming(on joanne's part) and laughing on mine. mat sliding and body sliding, toob sliding... or just floating about in the wavepool. it was lots of fun. saw LOTS of skin. but it was good. then travelled back to toronto completely exhausted. |
