i hope my words are strange and wondrous,

like kisses that quiet all things superfluous,

so that we can all stop and

listen

this is due to a frantic frenzy that includes a camping retreat, and two consecutive papers due after that.

but now in unwinding mode,

its only adequate for reflection.

i've been writing again,

lyrics and such.

excellence motivates me to aspire for excellence in mine.

redundant but true.

poetry class is training my innate sense of rhythm and hearing via scansion.

i've come to learn over the years the technicalities are terrible, but the footstools of every great person.

so i humble myself and succumb to the rigorous pushandpull of studying such things.

my angsty posts are now very very occasional relapses and no longer the norm,

i think im walking out of the stage of life where everything is amplified in my emotion.

and im perfectly willing to put it down, and move on to this more steady-footed sensibility.

angst is good,

but good is better.

i hope i retain the true spirit of my fingers,

and that the essence of my words remain honest, and beautiful.

i live each moment in continous gratitude.

because God has given me the capacity for so much appreciation,

and for so many eye-opening experiences to the wonders of his creation.

my prayer for today is peace, blessing and grace.

tired, but happy.

sleepy but satisfied.

In love and in life, everything in between.

Give me one glorious ambition for my life:

to know and follow hard after you.
